ABOUT THE PROJECT.

Creating an integrated in-product help experience for a multi-tenant SaaS suite. The Help Center provides contextual guidance, a unified entry point, and a searchable knowledge base without leaving the current workflow.

  • Contextual entry point within the suite (icon + drawer).
  • Search across FAQs, tutorials, and release notes.
  • Content based on current app/module/section (dynamic).
  • Responsive, accessible UI; tokenized and themable.

challenge.

Consolidate scattered help resources across legacy apps into one consistent experience. Show relevant content based on where the user is and reduce context-switching. One of the main UX challenges was designing a clear and intuitive entry point that wouldn’t disrupt user workflows while maintaining visual consistency with existing suite components.

On the technical side, I had to ensure dynamic content registration so that the Help Center could display different information based on the user’s current context (app, module, or section) - all without external libraries, and also matching the company’s custom design system.

process.

I worked on the interaction design, information architecture, and front-end implementation of the Help Center panel and drawers. The design process involved stakeholder interviews, UX prototype reviews, and iterative testing to refine usability, hierarchy, and responsiveness.

outcome.

The project enhanced the platform’s usability, scalability, and coherence while setting a foundation for future CMS integration and personalized support experiences.

  • Single, consistent entry point across the suite.
  • Context aware content (app → module → section).
  • ‘What’s New’ MVP with per-app filtering.
  • A registering model allowing modular content linking across apps.
  • Improved user guidance and discoverability across the Embrace platform.
